Version 7.0 build 756g of GeoCom® Helpdesk is available.
Enhancements and modifications:
- a display error of open calls in the Notes client's tickler has been solved
- an error that occured while choosing a call requester from one or more databases via browser client has been solved
Furthermore we give the following recommendations concerning configuration and handling of GeoCom® Helpdesk:
- Database properties: We recommend to limit the number of fields $UpdatedBy und $Revisions of the GeoCom® Helpdesk databases to a maximum of 100 entries. This can not be done via a template but must be defined in every single replica via database properties.
- Database update using database replicas: For performance reasons GeoCom Helpdesk® uses so-called profile documents. In the case of using several database replicas (local and/or on servers) we recommend to force replications with all replicas from the current template instantly after the update. This avoids later overwriting by a changed, outdated profile.
